Pastor Les and Lynda came to Eugene in October of 2006 to serve as the Lead Pastor of First Nazarene after having pastored the Idaho Falls, ID First Church of the Nazarene for almost 14 years.

Pastor Les and Lynda have 3 children.  Their oldest, Heidi, is married to Craig Jelsovsky.  They have twin daughters, Lyndan & Eve.  Andy married Terah (Orr) in 2002 and they live in Nampa, Idaho.  Gretchen, their youngest, is a sophomore attending Northwest Nazarene University.

Pastor Les earned his Doctor or Ministry degree from Biola University after receiving a Masters of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri.  Prior to pastoring in Idaho Falls he served as Lead Pastor in San Diego, California and in the Hemet Valley of Southern California.  During his college years at Point Loma Nazarene University and Pasadena Nazarene College he served in numerous churches as associate & youth pastor.

He enjoys fishing, waterskiing, snowmobiling & owns a 1930 Model-A hotrod.  His real love is his wife of 31 years and his family.
